posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Animax Asia began streaming the first episode of the Inazuma Eleven: Ares (Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin) anime last Friday. Animax Asia also premiered the anime on television on the same day with its first two episodes. The channel will air subsequent episodes with two episodes every Friday at 8:00 p.m.
The anime premiered in Japan on April 6, and the 11th episode aired in Japan last Friday
An upcoming PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android game, which is tied to the anime, will launch this fall, after a delay from its original summer release.
In the story of both the anime and the game, protagonist Asuto Inamori's soccer club is disbanded after the school's soccer field is destroyed. He and friends go to Tokyo to attend Raimon-chuu (Raimon Junior High) to play soccer. The story is set after the first Inazuma Eleven anime and game. However, the show takes place in a parallel world from all other Inazuma Eleven soccer role-playing games (apart from the first), because the story has taken a different course.
Shogakukan is running three new manga simultaneously for the Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin franchise on three different platforms: the Coro Coro Comics magazine, the Sunday Webry website, and the Manga ONE app. Each manga focuses on different characters.
