The tweet specifically refers to settei (modeling sheets) that are not officially for sale. The staff didn't offer an explanation as to whether the sheets were fakes, illegally produced copies, or outright stolen. The official MAPPA shop is selling the official setting material collection for the series for 3,780 yen (US$34).
The Banana Fish anime premiered on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on July 5. Amazon Prime Video is streamed the 24-episode series with English subtitles.
